Nearly every cat has a watcher, and mine is Stripes. Watchers like to sit up high watching what is happening in the Neighbourhood. To spot one, you need to look up. Typically, they prefer to sit on rooftops, trees and fences. If you have a cat who likes to climb up high, sometimes in the more obscure of places, then they are probably a watcher.
Watchers are very busy keeping watch over the tuna in the Neighbourhood, so many of them do not care too much for human company. They have set meal times, and a time limit on cuddles. Some of their humans can become frustrated with them because they treat human houses as hotels. Try not to be offended because these cats have an extremely important job to do. Instead try to remember a cat’s got to cat.
